Interessante modifica armi, dal nome altisonante ma che non ha a che vedere con la modalità cooperative: stiamo parlando di Co-Op Guns, del modder NasalHair (debutto per lui). Si tratta di un mod che modifica alcune delle caratteristiche peculiari di alcune armi, introducendo tra le altre cose le akimbo pistols e il consumo di carburante per la motosega. L'autore ha scelto questo nome per la sua creazione in quanto l'ha ideato per essere utilizzato con il mod OpenCoop, ma è pienamente utilizzabile anche in singleplayer.

We have a first time file submitter in our midst! NasalHair is here to supply you with a weapons mod that that will enhance your Doom III gaming experience. The changes made with this mod are not huge, and are not mind-boggling, but they are enough to slightly change your Doom adventure! Some of you that have survival, and other sort of important information on your mind may enjoy and need the visual changes included, such as on the grenade...the instructions for use are now printed on the side.

Some of the changes included are:


• Pistols are Akimbo
  
• Machine gun fire rates and damage are changed
  
• Shotgun reloads one shell at a time
  
• Chainsaw now requires Fuel and reloads to run
  
• Chaingun fire rates and damage are changed
  
• Shotgun sprays alot more pellets but do less damage
  
• Slight visual changes made to some weapons
  
• Some overall changes made include:
  
  • Max ammo counts
    
  • Damages inflicted

The developer has also stated that Co-Op Guns does not make the game Co-Op; The name of this download was orinially chosen for use with open-coop.
